[ a gold-wrapped box arrives! inside is a sampler of different kinds of boozy chocolate — because "what kind of chocolate are you into" isn't a conversation izō recalls having. so! there's dark chocolate and milk chocolate and also white chocolate and all of the little round treats are filled with a different kind of alcoholic concoction and not just for the flavour, they still retain their boozy potency~ ]
( they did not! perhaps they should have, because Kate doesn't even remember the last time she ate chocolate. at least the card that explains each chocolate is very clear about the alcohol in them too.
so, as any responsible boss does, Kate is just gonna keep these in her office and pick her way through them for the rest of the month. perhaps longer. )
